Here is my desktop SDR configuration. I also have small home recording studio and I'm routing the SDR output audio
to those active recording near field monitors. You may wonder what is on the desk, so here's a short description what you see.
From left to right: Elbug, JingTong 2m HT (don't have to cry if I drop this, hi), Yaesu FT221R and above it Multi-750X, SDR transceiver,
Straight CW key, Griffin Powermate which is my SDR VFO, Mocoma 99 CB phone and above it dualband 2m/70cm quad antenna
rotator control.
